Night Green DIY Lath And Crossbar
I'chiliad installing lath and crossbar post-obit the aforementioned procedure I did in our entryway. You tin come across the full DIY lath and crossbar tutorial here.
This fourth dimension around, I'g taking the board and batten almost ii-thirds of the way upward the walls and simply doing vertical battens every bit opposed to the squares I did in our entry.
Nearly all of the board and batten is installed and painted and I am obsessed. Moody walls combined with a pretty wall treatment makes me so happy. It feels good to finally take this function done! Well, mostly washed. I have couple catchy boards to add behind the toilet and mirror yet merely am still contemplating the best placement of those.
New Window Trim
I'k feeling like a super crawly homeowner for adding trim to our bathroom window this calendar week! Building things similar this from scratch is such a cool feeling.
I've never done this earlier and researched several styles online before deciding to follow this DIY window trim tutorial from my friend Christene. Her blog mail service is really detailed and she even has a free PDF workbook you lot can download that helps you calculate the lengths of all of the boards. That was super helpful since math is so not my strong arrange!
I painted the window trim pieces in the garage last weekend and installed them Tuesday night afterwards work. By labeling the backs of each board as I cut them, I knew exactly where each piece would be installed.
The actual installation went really fast cheers to my trusty Ryobi nailer. That was one of my very outset tools and I've used it for so many projects!

Afterwards (still need to add a couple last pieces to the summit this weekend!):
Mirror And Lighting Upgrades
My new low-cal fixture arrived yesterday so I'chiliad anxiously waiting to install information technology this weekend! I'm partnering with Lamps Expo for the bathroom makeover and I had such a tough fourth dimension choosing a vanity light simply I'chiliad really happy with my choice!
I selected the Hansford Light in Antiquarian Statuary and it'southward every bit pretty in person as information technology looks online!
I as well concluded upwards selecting this mirror from Target which is massive and looks much more expensive than information technology actually is. I've been looking for ways to bring some wood texture into the bathroom and I honey the wood frame of this mirror.
I still have the packaging on it simply in case I make up one's mind it looks off with the new light fixture, just I'one thousand feeling pretty confident that I will love the end look.
